「須磨海岸をフラの聖地に」
Hale Sumaは神戸の須磨海岸で、フラを通じて、人と自然との繋がりを育むプロジェクト。
オープニングセレモニーになんと！須磨海岸にハワイのクムフラがやってきます。
クム（ハワイの伝統的なフラの継承者）である、
Miʻilani Yoshiko Cooperさんをお招きし、全国から集まったダンサー達によるフラをご覧いただきます。
この日踊られるフラは、フラカヒコ（ハワイの古い時代から踊られてきた伝統的なフラ）。
フラは神や自然への信仰を起源とし、総合芸術である日本の能楽と同様、単なるダンスや音楽の概念では捉えられないものです。
そんなフラの真髄であるフラカヒコを須磨海岸の海、砂浜、風と一緒にご堪能ください。
"Make Suma Beach the Sacred Place of Hula" Hale Suma Project 2019 Opening Ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 4pm. The ceremony will be at the beach in front of Seapal Suma (1-1-1 Sumaura Ave.). Admission Free.
Kumu hula is coming to Suma Beach from Hawaii!
We invite Kumu (a traditional successor of hula in Hawaii) Miʻilani Yoshiko Cooper, and introduce Hula performed by dancers throughout Japan.
You will see Hula Kahiko (traditional ancient hula) at the opening ceremony.
The origin of Hula is faith in gods, goddesses and the nature. Like Japanese Noh play which is the comprehensive arts, it is nearly impossible to get the essence of Hula only from the concept of dance and music.
Please come join us at the opening ceremony and enjoy such an essential Hula Kahiko with the sea, the beach, and the breeze at Suma Beach.
